This 10 month course will advance skills & techniques for aspiring and learned woodworkers to a new level beyond machine tool mastery. Hand tool skills will be emphasized that include hand joinery, turning and especially, carving, also applying the museum quality finish. The understanding of design, proportion and furniture history will also be included, along with a heightened awareness of American furniture of the 18th century.
